Park Inks, 2010
A series of ink works using a wet-template stain process. They are generated from urban greenspace areas as depicted in local ‘A-Z’ guides. The bounded shape is the only reference that survives in the finished works. Gravity, the characteristics of ink on the wet paper and chance produce the patterns. Layering of the ink creates new transparent colours.
