Edward Bruce completed a Fine Art degree, winning the Alcan Prize for Sculpture, at Northumbria University, Newcastle. After moving to London, Edward exhibited with the Glue Factory group. As part of European Capital of Culture 2008 he made Ringing Banners, an Arts Council funded installation and performance in Liverpool Cathedral. While based there he taught Art History at the University of Liverpool and worked as a freelance artist educator for the Tate. As a member of Bridewell Studios he curated several group shows for Liverpool Biennial Independents. In 2017 Edward moved to Glasgow to study a Master’s course in Fine Art Practice at the Glasgow School of Art. Now based in Glasgow he is a member of Glasgow Print Studio and continues to develop solo and collaborative projects locally and internationally.
